Homebrew Actians Species Details
Actians are moth creatures that have a humanoid body, their main defining characteristics are their antennae, mandibles that can be disguised as a humanoid mouth, and fluffy wings that they use to fly. Although they are Cathemeral, they tend to be a bit more lively during the night.
Actians are very curious creatures, and will frequently try out different professions, foods, activities, and trades just to have the experience.
Actian can vary widely in color, covering nearly the entire spectrum along with having various patterns on their wings. An Actian's patterns reflects the environment they grew up in. One theory suggests that the weave affects what type of pattern an Actian has while it is being conceived.
A large part of traditional Actian society worships the sun itself. Most Actians will avoid using torches or other forms of non-magical light as they believe that doing so would be them forsaking their god.
You can most likely find their civilizations in open areas with little to no obstructions from viewing the sky, such as plains.
