Homebrew Werewolf Species Details
True-blood werewolves are a race of werewolves that have gained absolute control over their curse of lycanthropy, allowing them to live seemingly normal lives in the woods of Avacyn in a singular large clan that is ruled by one alpha family. The werewolves excel in wilderness survival and live happily in wolf-made constructs within the trees and foliage. They are also quite well attuned to magic and have created a new class of spellcasting that uses blood as the source of fuel and power. Blood Magic is a powerful tool the werewolves can use for both offensive means as well as healing injuries, a skill that has made the werewolves some of the most formidable and feared true-lycanthropes on the isle of Avacyn. True-blood werewolves still maintain their tough skin, providing them strong resistances to typical weaponry. While they may not be compelled to run rampant due to the full moon, the moon's light still grants them power; strengthening them during a full moon but also debilitating them during a new moon.
