Homebrew Bone Fairy_LP Species Details

The Feywild is home to many fantastic peoples, including fairies. Fairies are a wee folk, but not nearly as much so as their pixie and sprite friends. The first fairies spoke Elvish, Goblin, or Sylvan, and encounters with human visitors prompted many of them to learn Common as well.

Infused with the magic of the Feywild, most fairies look like Small elves with insectile wings, but each fairy has a special physical characteristic that sets the fairy apart.

Creating Your Character

Ability Score Increases

Bone fairy's have add +1 to Wisdom, +1 to Intelligence, & +1 to Constitution

If your bone fairy is over 750 years old then Intelligence score would increase be +2, instead of +1. 

 

Life Span

Mature by age 27. Full life span is unknown. Bone fairies have been known to live for millennia, and are rumored to be immortal.

As a fairy, you have the following racial traits.

Languages

You read, write, and speak Common, and can choose either Sylvan or Infernal as your additional language.

Creature Type

You are a Fey.

Size

You are Small.

Speed

Your walking speed is 25 ft. and your flying speed is 50 ft.

Gifts of the Drow

You know the dancing lights cantrip.

At third level you can cast faerie fire, and at fifth level you can cast darkness. Once you cast faerie fire or darkness with this trait, you cannot cast that spell with it again until you finish a long rest. You can cast these spells using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level. Your spellcasting modifier is Charisma for these spells.

Flight

Because of your wings, you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed. You can’t use this flying speed if you’re wearing medium or heavy armor.

Eyes of the Dark

You can see up to 120 feet, you can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Vanishing

You can use the spell misty step with this trait once per short or long rest.
