Homebrew dragon cat Species Details

Dragon cats are one of the very few creatures that are not pure magic in the plane of air that is also

native. Their history wiped from most books means not many know where they come from or that they even exist. Be that by their own design they have purposely tried to stay hidden for the past couple of centuries. They are a relatively new race the Union of a tabaxi and a dragon. Now there was a problem with The Offspring depending on who the mother was decided what they were. If the mother was a tabaxi they would come out as a tabaxi with Dragon ancestry allowing them to become sorcerers. If the mother was the dragon however an egg would be laid. And when the eggs hatched they would resemble a tabaxi but they had wings and the eye color of whatever dragon the mother was. most of which have silver eyes with other colors being rarer such as purple, red, and blue somewhere unhappy with these new creatures believing them to be unnatural and defying the gods will. And soon mobs would go to villages to start the extermination to kill any dragon cat they see and smash any eggs. an entire dragon settlement was brutally slaughtered before anyone could figure out what was going on. so they fled to the plane of air where they still sit to this day
