Created by battlemages in a time long gone to allow for adaptability in war, this spell allows the caster to change their class for a period of time. Over the course of the casting time, the caster must remain in meditation while holding the material component, focusing on its meaning to the target class. At the end of the duration, the caster's class switches to the target class, losing all their current abilities, spells, and attunement to items requiring their current class. In exchange, they gain all the abilities of the target class as if it were 3 levels below their own. HP remains unchanged. This lasts until the caster chooses to dispel the casting or it is ended via a spell such as Dispel Magic or Antimagic Field. It cannot be dispelled by other magical effects, such as the Beholder antimagic cone. If at any point the material component is not on the caster's person, the spell is ended.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the level of the target class increases by 1, until a 9th level casting allows changing to another class at equal level.
