A green ray springs from your outstretched hand to a creature you can see within reach. A creature targeted by this spell must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the target is covered with a shimmering emerald field that completely blocks teleportation or planar travel. The spell also prevents the use of portals such as a gate or teleportation circle.
This spell does not prevent summoned creatures from disappearing at the end of a conjuration spell.
