Constellation Ward

You scatter handfuls of powdered silver above the heads of up to three willing creatures present during the casting of this spell. Upon leaving your hand, the powdered silver transforms into motes of shimmering light that fill the air between you and the target creatures. The silver-hued lights twinkle like the stars of a constellation, connecting you and the target creatures together via faint trails of starlight.

The constellations remain for the spell's duration, and the effect ends on a creature if it moves more than 60 feet from you. A creature protected by the constellation will find hostile magic dampened and incoming projectiles veer away from them, reducing damage received from any spells or ranged weapon attacks by an amount equal to your spellcasting ability modifier, to a minimum of 0.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you can target three additional creatures for each slot level above 1st.
