Web of Fire

The caster strikes their palms upon the ground, causing a web of flame to crackle out & streak towards up to 5 creatures the caster can see w/i 60 ft. The fire then explodes upward into a column of flame. Each target must make a Dex saving throw, taking 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, & half on a success. Alternatively, the caster can cause all 5 streaks of fire to converge on a single target, intensifying the damage to 12d6 fire damage.

The fire can travel over objects up to 5 ft high, but can't travel thru water. Flammable objects in the fire's path're ignited.

When cast at higher levels, the spell deals 1d6 additional damage for each spell slot level above 4th.
