You may catch and release a spell you can see that is no more than 1 level higher than the level Cast Spell was cast at. The spell is treated like a small object when caught, until the spell ends or it is released.
- Spell-Attacks:
- Roll Athletics against the caster's Attack Roll
- If you succeed you are not hit by the spell, and catch it as a small object. This object may be thrown like an improvised weapon, dealing 1 bludgeoning damage, plus any spell effects on hit.
- If you fail the spell hits you, regardless of AC
- Roll Athletics against the caster's Attack Roll
- Non Spell-Attacks, caster is the origin:
- Roll Athletics Vs Concentration on a spell with visible projectile(s) or ray(s)
- On success you catch a projectile targeting you for each level you cast Catch Spell, and catch them as a small object(s). This object may be thrown like an improvised weapon, dealing 1 bludgeoning damage, plus any spell effects on hit.
- On failure you automatically fail any saves.
- Roll Athletics Vs Concentration on a spell with visible projectile(s) or ray(s)
- Non Spell-Attacks, spell target is the origin:
- Roll Athletics Vs Concentration on a spell with a visible, non-instantaneous spell, targeting an origin point that you can touch.
- On success any saves you would make against the spell are considered successful, and the origin becomes a small object. This does not stop the spell effect, and it follows the origin. The origin may be thrown like an improvised weapon, dealing 1 bludgeoning damage.
- On failure any needed saves for the spell are failed
- Roll Athletics Vs Concentration on a spell with a visible, non-instantaneous spell, targeting an origin point that you can touch.
