When in melee with a hostile creature, you can use your action to make an unarmed backhand dealing 1d4 bludgeoning damage. On casting, the hostile creature must make a Wisdom saving throw. If it succeeds, combat continues as normal. Upon failing the save, the creature is racked with guilt and uncertainty as to why it's fighting, stops hostility, and leaves the battlefield to re-evaluate its life choices leading to the moment of combat. The target takes the 1d4 damage regardless of success or failure.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d4 for each level above 1st, and the save DC increases by 1.
