Bloody Shield

For this spell to work, the user must have a large cut somewhere on their body. The caster mutters a few words which draw out a large amount of blood (the amount of blood/damage taken from the user depends on which type of the spell they wiled ) and morphs the blood into one of two shapes: 

1: The blood flies up into the air and then spins around forming an extremely thin disk which then shoots down to the enemy within 200ft of the casters choosing dealing 4d8 slashing damage. The caster takes 2d4 slashing damage.

2: The blood flows out of the cut forming a thick shield which increases the caster's AC to 20 for three rounds. The caster takes 3d4 slashing damage.

The defence version of the bloody shield can only be used once an hour.
