You plunge a wave of entropic energy through a creature, causing any wounds it has to immediately worsen. The target must make a Constitution saving throw. It takes 50% of its missing health as necrotic damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful one. A creature of challenge rating 10 or higher automatically succeeds this save.
A creature killed by this spell is violently ripped apart; and the entropic energy causes any charge based magical items to be re-rolled.
At Higher Levels: If you cast this spell at level 5 or higher, the maximum challenge rating of the target increases by two for each level above fourth and at ninth level, a creature makes makes the saving throw as normal, regardless of challenge rating.
