A heap of insults and invectives spew from your mouth—words so devastating your foes burn from the intensity of your diatribe. Choose a creature you can see within range. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the target is frightened of you until the start of your next turn, taking 2d6 fire damage immediately and 1d6 fire damage at the end of each of its turns. On a success, a creature is not frightened of you, and takes half as much of the initial damage and no damage at the end of each of its turns.
If a creature fails the initial saving throw, it can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the frightened condition and the damage on itself on a success.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each 2 levels above 2nd.
