You speak on the virtue of charity, magically compelling a creature you can see within range to give away one of its possessions. The target must succeed on a Charisma saving throw, or have one of the following effects occur:

  • If the creature rolls a 20 on the die and succeeds on the saving throw, it is unaffected by the spell
  • If the creature succeeds on the saving throw, it is stunned until the start of your next turn as it wrestles with the urge of charity
  • If the creature fails the saving throw, it is forced to give away one of the items it is holding or carrying to a creature it can see within range. At the start of its next turn, before it does anything else, the target must use its movement speed to move as close as it can to the chosen creature, choosing which item to give to it, and then must use its action to give the item to the creature. If the only item it has to give away is an item it's currently using to defend itself, the creature can instead choose to be stunned until the start of your next turn.
  • If the creature rolls a 1 on the die and fails the saving throw, the duration of the spell is increased to 3 rounds. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
