Blessed Harvest

You conjure a scythe in a slashing motion with your hand. It reaps your foe of their lifeforce. This spell is especially deadly to those on death's door. 

This is a ranged spell attack but does not suffer from being cast in melee. When cast, select a target you can see within 15ft of you. An ethereal scythe rakes across them, dealing 3d8 damage. If the target is below 50% health, this is increased to 6d8 damage instead.
