Chaos Shield

A crackling shower of electrical energy erupts from your body creating a barrier around you. For the duration of the spell, you gain +5 to your AC, reduce any damage taken by 1d8, and the attacker is struck with lightning damage equal to the die roll.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd or higher, both the damage reduced and the lighting damaged inflicted on the attacker are increased by an additional 1d8.
