When casting this spell you touch a piece of ammunition or a weapon with the thrown property not being worn or carried by another creature and it becomes wreathed in shadowy energy and slowly begins to glow bright orange underneath the shadows.
When this ammunition or weapon is used in an attack its damage type changes to fire and it deals an additional 1d4 thunder damage. If the attack with the ammunition or weapon hits its target you also get to immediately perform a Shove action against the target of the attack using your spell attack bonus in place of your athletics. In addition, unsecured objects not being worn or carried by another creature that are within 5 feet of the target are automatically pushed 5 feet away from the target by the spell's effect.
The ammunition or weapon must be used before the start of your next turn or it explodes dealing its normal damage as fire damage plus an additional 1d4 thunder damage to all creatures and objects in a 5 foot radius.
The bonus thunder damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4). In addition, at each of these levels the size limitation for the shove attack increases by one size category.
