Reality is smeared in a line streaking from your pointing finger to a point you choose within range and then blossoms with a pulse of silence that swallows sound for a moment, appearing as if the forms within are distorted unnaturally. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Wisdom saving throw as they are buffeted by a torrent of possibilities for the past, present and future, putting tremendous strain on their minds. A target takes 8d6 psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The reality distortion spreads around corners. It causes non-worn biodegradable objects within the sphere to crumble to dust.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd.
