as an action you can cast this spell any chosen creature within 30ft of you must make a dex save if failed they take 6D4 blood damage, if successful half the damage rolled. as the spell is casted a drop of your blood hits the floor spreading around you in 30ft as large blood spikes coming up hitting the chosen creatures
