By concentrating destructive energy, a mage can build up a dense aura around their fist. This spell can be started as a bonus action, but once started the somatic component will take an entire full round action afterwards to complete, during which one of the spaces adjacent to the caster are chosen as the target. Once the somatic action has been performed, the spell activates as a bonus action on the following turn. While performing this somatic hand gesture the casting mage is effectively immobilized, reducing their speed to 0 until after the spell is complete or interrupted. This spell cannot be interrupted voluntarily. When the spell completes, a target object or creature in the space adjacent to the caster ( Chosen during the full round action of performing the somatic component. ) is hit with an incredible blast of destructive force as the compressed magical energy expands, causing 2d12 + str mod + casting mod and requiring a strength saving throw to resist being pushed 15 ft in a straight line away from the caster and being knocked prone. Succeeding on this saving throw also reduces the damage by half.
When cast at 5th level the caster can choose to cast it with their choice of two results:
A. The spell fires as normal, only impacting the adjacent space and one creature/object for 6d12 + Str mod + Casting Mod, half on a successful Strength save against the caster's spellsave dc. Failing this save also sends the target object/creature 30ft in a straight line away from the caster.
B. Instead of only hitting the space adjacent to the caster, it instead fires as a 15 ft cone, hitting any creature within range for 2d12 + Str mod + Casting mod, halved on a successful strength save against the caster's spellsave dc. Any creatures that fail a strength save to resist this spell are also pushed in a straight line away from the caster until they exit the cone of effect, and are knocked prone.
