With a simple gesture, you conjure a blade in your hand. If either of your hands aren't free, the spell fails. You decide weapon's appearance. The blade vanishes if it leaves your hand or you dismiss it (no action required). When you attack with this weapon, it counts as magical for overcoming resistances and immunities. On a hit, the blade deals 1d10 slashing damage. You use your spellcasting ability for attacks and damage rolls rather than Strength.
At 5th level, you can attack twice on your turn, provided you are using a weapon created by this spell.

Posted Sep 6, 2024This is a significantly more powerful spell than the similar 2nd Level spell Shadow Blade. It doesn't consume spell slots, it doesn't require concentration, it doesn't require a verbal component, it uses your spell attack bonus instead of Str or Dex, AND it grants an extra attack. Horribly imbalanced.
