You rub a copper ball in a bit of fur causing static to build up, generating a ball of condensed lightning. You hurl the ball at a target, either creature or a conductive item and it bursts, . A creature takes 3d6 lightning damage. The lightning then jumps to 2 other targets within 10 feet of the first target, taking 2d6 lightning damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
