You conjure a 1-foot sphere of pressured water from the Plane of Water or from the environment to shoot at your target causing the sphere to explode on impact causing damage. Choose one creature or object within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit the attack deals 1d8 bludgeoning damage. If there is enough water in your environment within 60 feet of you to fill a 1-foot sphere when you cast this spell then you can draw upon that water instead to empower your spell. If you do so the damage increases to 1d10.
The spell's damage increases as you increase in character level: 2d8 (2d10 if you draw water from the environment) at 5th level, 3d8 (3d10) at 11th level and 4d8 (4d10) at 17th level.
