You separate the magic in an area into its individual arcane components. All active spells and magical effects in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on a point you choose within range are disjoined, ending their effects. Antimagic fields and similar antimagic effects cease to function. Summoned creatures and objects vanish or are returned to the plane from which they were summoned. Even the power of permanent magic items is disrupted by the spell: Any magic item within range that requires attunement becomes unattuned. If the item was attuned, there is a 50 percent chance at the start of each of its wielder’s turns that attunement is restored.
