The Guardian of Suor Alus in Ryf Aiqua must roll a DC 20 Religion check in order to reach the desired deity. They must speak the incantation in the deity's primary language if possible. Advantage can be given to the roll with the presence of a cleric to that deity, or by presenting objects connected directly to that deity.
You contact a deity and ask up to five questions. Answers may come in the form of a yes/no, or in concrete sentences, depending on a number of factors. You must ask your questions before the spell ends. You receive a correct answer for each question.
Divine beings aren't necessarily omniscient, so you might receive "unclear" as an answer if a question pertains to information that lies beyond the deity's knowledge. In a case where a one-word answer could be misleading or contrary to the deity's interests, the GM might offer a short phrase as an answer instead.
