You create a solid fragment of the void and fling it at one creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 piercing damage. Hit or miss, the blade then explodes. You can also use the dagger as a melee weapon, it only breaks once it has been thrown. If you use it as a melee weapon you must hold concertaion. The target and each creature within 5 feet of it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw(if thrown). To attack in melee form make a regular weapon attack take 1d6 psychic damage & 1d6 necrotic damage

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the psychic and necrotic damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
