When attacking an opponent physically, (melee attacks) while you are not at full health (your total current hp cannot be full or higher than your max hp) you can roll a D10 and reduce your hp by the outcome, then mark the target for x minutes, x being the amount of hp you lost. 

 

While the spell is active, the target with your blood mark releases a disgusting magic scent that does not go away unless the creature with the mark is dead. All creatures within 25 feet of the marked creature will be forced to attack the marked creature first. Marked creatures are not affected by the scent, and if there are multiple marked creatures, they will not attack each other. If a creature who was originally hostile to a marked creature becomes marked, they lose thier hostility towards that creature. The marked creature then gains disadvantage in saving throws until the duration ends.
