You create an ill omen that you shoot with your bow. Target one creature within range that must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw, or be subjected to an ill fate. On a success the creature takes 2d8 psychic damage and the spell ends.
The ill omen can be any happening, for example:
- A volley of arrows rain down on the enemy dealing 8d10 piercing damage
- A spellcasting critically fails and the spell is wasted regardless of spell level
- The creature trips when it moves and the equipment it is carrying scatters over 60 ft. random directions
- Armor bearings let loose and any armor and shield it is wearing is instantly doffed
- Muscles tense up and the creature is unable to move, attack or cast spells using Somatic components until the end of its next turn.
- All flammable items on the creature catch fire and the creature takes 1d6 fire damage for each item
- The creature becomes exhausted, it takes 2 points of exhaustion
- Its mind becomes cloudy and slow, reducing the AC of the creature by 2 and granting a critical hit on any attack roll with a 19 or 20.
You can have another omen take place at the DM's discretion, but it may be not much stronger than the examples above. Unless an omen has a specific trigger, you can use a reaction to have the omen take place instantaneously after the end of your 2nd turn after casting this spell.
