You conjure a chilling hand of mist and bone that grasps at a creature you can see within range. The target must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 4d6 necrotic damage, and is grappled. Until this grapple ends, the target is also restrained. The target takes half damage on a successful saving throw.

To break out, the grappled target can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC. On a success, the target escapes and is no longer grappled by the hand.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd Level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
