Amanuensis

While holding a quill you move your hand as though writing in the air. You manipulating the written word creating one of the following effects:

• You instantly cause nonmagical text of up to 250 words from one source to be copied into a book, or onto a piece of paper or parchment. The spell does not translate the copied writing. If you do not understand the original, you have no additional ability to understand the copy.
• You create an invisible magical sensor in the air that records all speech within 30 feet into a book, or onto a piece of paper or parchment for 1 hour. 
• You touch an item containing some form of text and speak a word or phrase. For 1 hour, all references to that word or phrase glow luminously where present.
• You instantly copy a single illustration on a page or piece of parchment, limited to the color of the ink used in the material component.
• You animate a book giving it a mouth and voice to read its pages aloud for 1 hour. The voice speaks in the language in which the book is written. 
• You instantly repair a faded page of text returning it to legibility. The spell has no effect on a magic book, spell scrolls or spell books. The spell does not translate the writing.

If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have up to three of its non-instantaneous effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action.
