Upon seeing a piece of food, the spell caster may decide to caste Acrid Taste. When cast, the piece of food (which may be no bigger that 5lbs in weight) turns poisonous, but keeps it's original taste, texture, appearance and smell. If the piece of food is then eaten, the creature is left inactive for two rounds due to the horrible taste, and must make a constitution saving throw versus DC 12 poison or take 2d8 points of damage. On a successful save the victim only takes 1d8 points of damage but is still inactive for two rounds.

For every level you pocess after 1st, the weight of the allowed food is increased by 1lb and the damage of the poison increases by +2 but only when the opponent doesn't make it's save.

* - (A small piece of the specific food.)
