As an action, you extend your hand and trace a sigil of warding in the air. Until the end of your next turn, you have resistance against bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage dealt by weapon attacks.

Alternatively, this spell may be used as a reaction in response to a weapon attack that hits you. Used in this way, the resistance only applies to the first attack that you used the reaction on, and does not apply to any further attacks from the same creature or other creatures.
