When cast this spell functions similar to the spell Flesh to Stone, however it can also be used on undead, and inanimate objects made of bone.
When used against a living creature that has a skeleton, you attempt to transform the skeleton of a creature that you can see within range into bananas. If the target's body has a skeletal structure it must make a Constitution saving throw or have disadvantage on dexterity saving throws or ability checks. If the target's body does not have a skeletal structure this spell has no effect.
A creature affected by this spell must make another Constitution saving throw at the end of each of its turns. If it successfully saves against this spell three times, the spell ends. If it fails its saves three times, the creature's bones are transformed into bananas. The creature's dexterity score is reduced to 3, and it becomes an amorphous creature resembling an ooze. If the target was a skeleton, they are now a plant creature.
If you maintain your concentration on this spell for the entire possible duration, the creature's bones are turned to bananas until the effect is removed.
If the spell was cast upon an object made of bone, such as a necromancer's multi-layered bone tower, crafted from the remains of it's enemies, the item is transformed into a single banana of appropriate size and/or shape. If such a banana was created from a building, the interior of the banana retains the original floor layout, and all furnishings, including stairs - which are also made of banana... potentially.
If the fruit of the banana is removed from the peel and you end concentration of the spell before its full duration, the number of bones are duplicated - appropriate to the original counting of bones. If the bananas are awakened prior to being returned to being bone, the creature retains it's awakened nature. If duplicate bones are made from discarded banana peels they can be animated. If the banana(s) are made sentient, then peeled, then reverted back into bones, you have made a duplicate skeleton of the original creature or item that is also awakened. If you mash the banans up into pudding, and then revert them back into bones, you have a bone ooze. If you mash the bananas up, awaken them, transform them into a bone ooze of many tiny bone fragments, then recast the spell, you have an awakened banana swarm. Lastly, if you cast Fabricate using bone and hemp rope as the raw material to fashion a rope bridge with bone planks, and cast the spell, you have a banana hammock. That can be awakened.... or used as a club.
