You attempt to interrupt a creature in the process of casting a spell, and wrest command of the spell away from the caster. If the creature is casting a spell of 1st level or lower, its spell immediately falls under your sway, enabling you to redirect it at any point or creature within its range, or back at the caster themselves. If the creature is casting a spell of 2nd level or higher, make an ability check using your spell-casting ability. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level, or the spell save DC of the creature casting the spell, whichever is higher. On a success, the creature's spell immediately falls under your sway, enabling you redirect it any towards any point or creature within the spell's range, or back at the caster.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the interrupted spell immediately falls under your sway, enabling you to redirect it at any point or creature within the spell's range, or back at the caster, provided it was cast at least two levels below Aderic's Redirect. If the spell was cast one level below Aderic's Redirect, or higher, make an ability check using your spell-casting ability, with the DC equal to 10 + the spell's level, or the spell save DC of the creature casting the spell, whichever is higher.
