You create a downpour of salted water in a 20 ft. radius that is unusable for consumption that remains on the floor for one minute. Non-magical fires no larger than a bonfire are extinguished. Oozes in the area of effect receive 1 necrotic damage for each size larger than tiny.

  • The water interacts with other spells of 1st-level or higher. When at least 10 fire damage has been inflicted on an area of water of at least a 5 ft. cube it becomes steam and lightly obscures the affected area for 1 minute, or disperses immediately by any form of wind or thunder spell.
  • When any lightning damage is cast on the body of water, it charges up the water dealing lightning damage equal to the spell's original level when a creature starts its turn or enters the body of water, until the end of your next turn.
  • When any cold damage is cast on the body of water it freezes for a duration in turns equal to the spell's level, turning it into ice making it difficult terrain when walking on it and any creature must succeed on a DC 10 dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.

The spell's effect does not extend to any other bodies of water already present and fails in rain or underwater, or if cast again within 1 minute.

The spell's radius increased by 10 ft. when you reach 5th level (30 ft.), 11th level (40 ft.), and 17th level (50 ft.).
