Arcane Hacking

You tap into the magic of a creature or object and alter it to suit your purposes. When you cast this spell, you interact with your sender stone to interfere with magical items or ongoing magical effects. Choose one creature, object, or magical effect within range. If the creature or object has more than one magical element (such as a magic item, ongoing spell, or inherent magic), and you cannot discern a specific magical element to target, randomly select one.

Choose one of the options below for the spell's Effect. Note that some options can only be selected at the noted character levels.

Interference: For the next minute, all attacks and ability checks that make use of the magical element are rolled with disadvantage. All saving throws against the magical element are rolled with advantage.

Power Up: For the next minute, all attacks and ability checks that make use of the magical element are rolled with advantage. All saving throws against the magical element are rolled with disadvantage.

Redirect: Make a Knowledge (Arcana) check using your spellcasting ability modifier against the spellcaster's save DC. If you succeed, you may alter the attunement, targeting, or physical location of the magical element. Effect is dependent on element type and circumstances.

Control: Make a Knowledge (Arcana) check using your spellcasting ability modifier against the spellcasters save DC + 10. If you succeed, you gain control of the spell or magical element as if you had cast it or attuned to it. You may use it as though you were holding it, as long as you remain within the range of this spell. You may alter any parameters of the spell or magical element set at the time of its casting, including targets.

Digitize Me! (Ritual): You must cast this spell as a Ritual in order to select this effect. You and up to seven willing companions project your personas into the target. Your actions within the target's magical space will determine the effect of this spell.
