Upon the activation of this spell, the user's shadow extends outwards. Any light source, both magical and non-magical, that comes into contact with the shadow will be instantly extinguished. Furthermore, the user's own movements will be muffled, so long as they stay within the spell's borders. They additionally obtain darkvision up to 20 feet.
