You or a willing creature can take one feature from a creature by using parts of its body. This can be a stat, AC, special feature, resistance, immunity (though only when cast at level 6), vulnerability or life span (you cannot decrease a creature's lifespan in this way). in order to gain these abilities you must use a part of the creature that corresponds to the feature for example:

  • Constitution: heart, stomach and other internal organs
  • Strength: muscle tissue
  • Intelligence: brain matter
  • Wisdom or vision: eyes
  • Dexterity: nerves
  • Charisma: vocal chords or tongue
  • AC, resistances, vulnerabilities and immunity's: hide, scales or skin
  • Flight: feather or wing membrane
  • additional features: DM's discretion

Not including role-play features (such as age) you can permanently have a maximum of these features equal to your proficiency bonus at a time. Making these features permanent requires you to cast the spell once per day every day for a 30 days and cost 100*CR of the creature's gold worth of incense. If you wish to remove one of these features you must cast the spell using a piece of your own flesh/blood that is from before you gained the feature. If you attempt to cast this spell using Material from Undead, elementals (ginasi don't count), or construct or cast it on those creature types the spell fails. Furthermore you can not take abilities that are innately magical such as innate spell casting, true site or magic resistance(ask DM).

Max possible to get permanent per spell level.
