An intensely bright streak flashes from your pointing finger to a point you choose within range and then blooms into a bright blue orb. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 8d6 cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The cold spreads around corners.

It freezes small amounts of nonmagical liquids in the area that aren't being worn or carried.

Usage of this spell consumes one sorcery point

At Higher Levels. A side-effect of spell transmutation is that spells cannot be cast at higher levels
