Avenging Crusader

The power of Esha's redeemed soul courses through you, turning you into an Avenging Crusader.  You gain the following abilities:

• Whenever you cast Virtuous or Leading Strike cantrip, you may cast as a FREE action "Healing Word" as per the normal spells rules.
• A critical hit with Virtuous or Leading strike triggers an additional FREE Mass Cure Wounds (as level 5), as well as the FREE "Healing Word" effect above
• You are NOT affected by difficult terrain as your zeal empowers your steps to annihilate your foes

However, harnessing the power of the Avenging Crusader spirit of Esha is an enormous physical and spiritual exertion and once a Crusade has started, stopping prematurely has consequences:

• If a Virtuous or Leading Strike is NOT taken during that characters turn (by choice or due to another influence stopping / no enemy within range etc), the Crusade ends and penalises the caster with 1 Level of Exhaustion for every 2 rounds remaining of the spell.  This can be recovered by either natural rest or by magical restoration.
