You summon forth a fey spirit in the form of a small but extremely loud bee, buzzing around the head of the designated creature. The bee has a fly speed of 120 feet. It remains near the subject in spite of darkness, invisibility, polymorph, cover, concealment, or any other attempt at disguising or hiding; though they will not move through water. The bee remains until the spell ends or the target moves out of range of the caster. A bee will follow a deafened creature, but the creature suffers no penalties from this spell.
This spell creates an unnerving noise that disrupts the subject’s concentration. The subject is distracted and has Disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and Wisdom (Perception) checks. The DC of Concentration Checks made by creatures distracted by one or more bees, increases by 2 per bee.
Each round, a distracted character can use an Action to attempt a new DEX saving throw. On a successful roll, the creature swats the bee from the air, causing the fey spirit to return to Feywild.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, an additional bee appears for every 2 slot levels above 1st. You can direct the bees at the same target or at different ones.
