You can use your action to make a melee spell attack with the dark blade. On a hit, the target takes 1d6 necrotic damage plus your spellcasting  modifier.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for every slot level above 2nd.
