William's Tea Time Suprise

A vertical column of boiling hot earl grey tea bursts down up from the ground in a location you specify. Each creature in a 5-foot-radius, 20-foot-high cylinder centered on a point within range must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 2d8 fire damage and falls prone on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one and no prone.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the fire damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2nd.
