Target a creature you can see within range. You cause that creature to see an illusion of themselves as a mutilated and animated corpse appearing 5 feet in front of them wherever they look and which only they can see. The illusion remains in front of them for the duration and moves with them up to 60 feet from you. The illusion can’t be ignored unless the target closes their eyes. If the target is further than 60 feet from you the spell ends. The target makes a wisdom saving throw against your spell DC.
On a failure the target takes 1d8 psychic damage and is frightened of the illusion. (A frightened creature has disadvantage on Ability Checks and Attack rolls while the source of its fear is within line of sight. The creature can’t willingly move closer to the source of its fear.) The target takes 1d8 psychic damage at the start of each of it’s turns for the duration and remains frightened for the duration.
On a success the target still takes the 1d8 psychic damage at the start of each of their turn’s but is not frightened of the illusion.
