You summon a single small lightning bolt in the air to strike your opponent. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. If the attack hits, the creature takes 2d6 lightning damage and must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is paralyzed until the end of it's next turn. Any creature with resistance to lightning damage has advantage on the saving throw.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
