You learn how to use your magic to imitate the fierce physical blows of mighty warriors. Make a melee spell attack against a creature you can reach. On a hit, you deal 2d6 + your spellcasting ability modifier magical bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage (you choose which) to the target.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the initial bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd. Additionally, if your spell attack lands, choose one of the following effects to inflict on the target of your spell.

Whirlwind of Blows. You force all creatures within 10 feet of the target to make a dexterity saving throw. On a failure they take damage equal to 1d6 for every 2 levels this spell is cast at or half as much on a successful saving throw. The damage type is the same as the target received.

Debilitating Strike. You force the target of your spell attack to make a constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target's movement speed is reduced to 0 and the next time the target takes damage they take an additional 1d6 damage of the same type, for every 3 levels this spell is cast at. On a success, the target's speed is reduced by 10 feet instead.

Furious Rush. You force the target of your spell attack to make a strength saving throw. On a failure, the target is pushed back 10 feet for every 2 levels the spell is cast at and is knocked prone. On a successful saving throw the target is pushed back half as many feet and is not knocked prone.

Dazing Wound. You force the target of your spell attack to make a wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the target is stumbled and dazed by you, granting the next attack made against the target advantage and it scores a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.

Confounding Hit. You force the target of your spell attack to make an intelligence saving throw. On a failure, the target can not differentiate friend from foe and uses the attack action on their turn on whichever creature is closest to it.

Goading Whack. You force the target of your spell attack to make a charisma saving throw. On a failure, the target is infuriated by your presence. It has disadvantage on all attack rolls made against any creature other than you on it's next turn and it must use at least half it's movement to come closer to you on it's turn.
