This spell rockets/teleports the suit of armor (this can include a shield if you have one equipped) you are wearing off of your body and onto an ally within range that is wearing no or light armor; the target must be the same size (if you are medium, the target must also be medium). Any properties of the armor, or any modifications of the armor (such as infusions, magic effects that don't require attunement, etc.), immediately apply to the creature. The creature also gains proficiency in the armor while concentrating on this spell. If you are an artificer with the Armorer subclass abilities "Arcane Armor" and "Arcane Model", the following changes apply while concentrating on this spell:

  • Arcane Armor: The armor does not count as the creatures spellcasting focus, but all other abilities are still active, except they apply to the creature donning the armor. Additionally, you can cast spells of 2nd level or lower without a range of self through the armor as if you were in that square.
  • Armor Model: The ally who dons the armor cannot use thunder gauntlets or lightning launcher, but they can use powered stepsdampening field, and defensive field (still uses your artificer level and consumes a use from your pool), of course depending on which armor model is currently active.

If your concentration ends early or if you end it, your armor teleports/rockets back and dons itself back onto you.
