You create a spear of pressurized air and propel it at a target creature. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 piercing damage. Hit or miss, the vacuum left in the spear's wake implodes with a thunderous crack. The target and each creature within 5 feet of it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 2d8 thunder damage. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the piercing and thunder damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 1st.
