While the caster is in a location they can name a specific event that has occurred in the past 24 hours, you may project an image of the event that happens in real time. The figures that perform the actions depicted in the event are featureless apart from estimated heights and sizes. In order to cast the spell you must know what happened in the event that you are projecting. For example If you figure out that a murder happened in a room and figured out where it started you could effectively cast the spell. In addition if you project an event that you personally experienced you may ignore the time requirement. In addition the figures aren’t featureless if you experienced the event. 

At Higher Levels. You may recall events from up to 1 week with a 4th level spell slot,  1 month with 5th levels slot, 6 months with a  6th level spell slot,  1 year with a 7th level slot, 10 years with an 8th level spell slot, or 100 years with a 9th level slot.
