Angrath's Fiery Rift

You invoke the power of Angrath to tear a temporary flaming rift in the planes. The caster makes a Ranged Spell Attack hurling their Pact Weapon into the fiery rift. The rift then appears up to 60 ft. away expelling 10 ft. of white hot flaming chains to impale and burn targets. On a successful hit targets take 5d6 fire damage and have disadvantage on their next attack rolls. On a miss targets take half damage and no other effects. The Pact Weapon is returned to it's dimension upon casting this spell.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 fire damage for each slot above 2nd.
